Board Certified Neuropathology Services:
Post Mortem neurological examination of the central (brain) and/or peripheral nervous system (spinal cord, nerves, muscles and eye) for diagnosis and confirmation of such diseases as Alzheimer's disease, Dementias, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig disease), Brain Trauma, Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), Brain Tumors, Stroke.

This specialized examination is performed by a Board Certified Neuropathologist. This service is available either separately or it can be provided in conjunction with a complete autopsy.

Genetics and Molecular Autopsy:
Blood testing can be performed for identification of genes that cause diseases including dementia and other neurological disorders, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, metabolic disorders, and pediatric syndromes.  If a gene is identified, a saliva test can also be performed on family members to see if they inherited the gene. Pricing is per panel.
